Description:

VISAT Station is a UNIX workstation based software system for extracting 3D spatial information from stereo geo-referenced images. These images are collected by the VISAT mobile mapping system with CCD cameras, GPS receivers and INS which are mounted on a terrestrial survey vehicle. Through GPS/INS integration, these images are precisely georeferenced. VISAT Station is used to reconstruct 3D objects from the images by applying photogrammetric principles. Non-spatial information can be attached to these measured objects during the measuring procedure. VISAT Station provides a user friendly interface for effective interactions and an mechanism for managing measurement data. Accuracy of 30cm is attainable if objects are within a distance of 50m from cameras.
